I am just dropping in to say hi. I live in Michigan too. We are looking to adopt a special needs child under 5. Our homestudy was completed in February, so I guess we are waiting parents. I love reading everyones advice. I am really glad that I am not the only one who did not wish to do foster care to adopt. I knew that my heart couldn't take it. I worry that we have taken the longer route and I stink at being patient.
