Why do you think your feelings should be irrelevant to your son's parents? I've never even met you, yet I find myself hoping things for you like happiness and success in your family-building plans. I would hope that family cares about you even more than the little bit I care.
And if this is all about your son, how is not allowing him to know he has a sibling (when that time comes) good for him?
