Hello all,

We are wondering about adoption of HIV+ children and how does this play....

If we were to do it, we would adopt a, older child (6+ years) so no more chance of becoming negative.

I understand the child wont have subside because it is an international adoption.

We have a WONDERFUL insurance but questions too...

Like:

Can immigration refuse to allow us to adopt because we are adopting a HIV+ child???

Can the insurance refuse to accept my newly adopted child because the child has HIV?

Is there any program in USA to help with medicines for HIV kids (I read somewhere that insurance wont cover medicines)?

Does anyone know anything about it?
