Well today was not the answer we longed for. Actually, the judges did not make their decision today-they heard CASA's and mom's attornies. At least they let our attorney submit a brief which is good. My husband said that our lawyer said that CASA's lawyer did pretty good. Everytime one of the judges would ask a question she would already know the answer before him but at least he had the same answer. They had brought up something about the law and he said that the law states that they should not be in care for more than 12 out of 22 months and ours was with us for 46 months of her life. One of the judges stated something about suitability and our lawyer said her should of brought up about her other two being in care but they could of said that it might of been a conflict of interest. They also mentioned about the bonding and CASA said there was no bonding but of course hers said there was but like they said how could their be when she didn't see her for 1-1/2 years? But hers said that she adjusted, right how would she know, she doesnt see her. CASA's lawyer also brought up about let our little one have the stability and the life she needs and had. What is good is that one of the 3 judges which is a woman also was a CASA worker and is CASA friendly so hopefully that will be good for us. Also was said was when mom didn't see her for that year and a half (her lawyer) said that she was denied visits, yeah right and also she said that she tried called csb and the caseworker but they didn't return her calls (another lie) so the other lawyer said if that was true then why didn't she petition the courts for visitation? No answer. I just pray to God that they see what we all see. Too bad our lawyer couldn't of spoken but as you all know we as foster parents have NO rights we are only considered 3rd party. Like our lawyer asked the casa worker why can't they yank her out of their since all of the domestic violence but like they said there has be something done to her or a referral or the cops have to come and take her away. What laws! So right now we wait and keep praying. I have to believe that with all of your prayers, God IS answering them and watching? I'm kind of glad they didn't make their mind up today and make a quick decision which might of been the wrong one. Well at least they have all of our briefs and they will read them with the TRUTH in them and belive ours and the best interest of the child was to stay with us and then when it gets over turned then all of the stuff that mom has been doing could be brought up and also which is good is that her son goes up for permanent tomorrow and the daughter goes up in June. So I hate to keep asking, but please keep on praying for her. Thank you all
