I don't think it will be a problem at all. We are in the same boat...maybe worse. I had a lot of family who came to live with us from out of state. It should be temporary, but it will probably be a couple of years. Yikes!! We have our two mothers and a 20 yr old sister in law. That should probably make you feel better!!
When we presented this situation to the Agency during the homestudy, we explained the situation and they were fine with it. As long as you have enough room in your home for the baby and the relative, you will be fine. As a matter of fact, we were matched with a birthmother but, unfortunately, it did not work out. To be honest, I dont know if the Agency told her about our living situation, but it should not matter. I agree with the things that Jackie said. Everybody has to go through this at some point in their lives. This will just be testament to the kind of person you are. Obviously, someone very caring and with a big heart.
Everything will come down to your profile book, and that will be all about you guys.
It will all work out!!!
