I think it would depend on what combined experience and credentials the agency employees have. I would also have to think it through, are they so new that they haven't had the opportunity to place ads in the phone book, newspaper and get the word out about them? Would they be out there for birthmothers to find them and contact them? On the other hand, if they are brand new then the odds are good that there aren't many other couples that birthmothers would be able to choose from. I do have to tell you though that for us, it was very important to choose an agency that had a good reputation and the best way to find out about them is to talk to other couples who have used them and birthmothers also to be sure they got adequate care.
