Hello everyone,
We are 52 & 40 with 3 bio sons. We have been pursuing international, thinking that we were too old to be picked domestically.
However, after a 3rd country switch (due to program closures, etc.), we were just at the point of dossier translation for Kazkakhstan, when it seems that they have begun rejecting parents over 50.
We want so badly to adopt a daughter and at this point we are waiting to get the final word on whether there is any more hope with our international agency.
I have spoken to one woman at Adoption Network Law Center, but can't seem to get any feedback about them. If you can recommend (or discourage) any agency choice, I would be so grateful.
Regards,
Laurel
