I see your intent and I think it's great. I'd like to go one step further, since we're aiming that as aparents.
They're my parents. Period. My folks may have had "additional" worries because we were adopted, but they never shared those with us, or made us feel we were any different. I would never thank my parents for adopting me. I think they'd hate that. I will say I love them, and thank them for being great parents!
I think the first 3 questions are asked by most new parents. My parents may have worried I'd find my biological mother, but they always encouraged me to do so if I wanted, and even offered to do it for me. I think they realized that love isn't exclusive. One doesn't have to infringe on the other.
