I was always open to reunion and felt in my heart it would eventually happen and would certainly welcome it. Then when I received identifying info, after being initially overjoyed, I got very overwhelmed and anxious. A lot of feelings came to the surface I did not expect. Totally threw me for a loop. I needed time to process everything. That could be what is happening with your sibling. I'm a firm believer that reunion should go slowly. It's so easy to get carried away, but IMO it's better to slow down, even though the waiting does stink.
