Long story short: I found my half brother (finally), and was incredibly excited about it. I actually found his information from the registry on this site. Since he was previously searching for his (I guess our) birth mother, I assumed he would be excited to hear from his half sister he didn't even knew he had.

Turns out he was (and still is) pretty hesitant about it all. I can see how he wants to look into it all himself because you can't just trust anyone that says, "Hey I'm your sister."

I understand he needs his space and time to think about things before he calls us or meets us. I just do not understand why he's all of a sudden changed from searching for us to hesistant to communicate with us.

I'd like any insight as to what is going on in his head. I feel for him and I'm trying to understand, but I'm just so excited and happy to learn he's had a great life. I just want to meet him so badly!

Any advice or similar stories?
