Are your parents still alive? Would they give their permission for you to search in writing? While the birthmother/father are still living, CYFS are reluctant to give information to other family members. If however your parents have passed over, I suggest you contact your local MP who should/could get CYFS moving with one phone call. That's why they have an electorate - to help those who live in their area.
