All this tells me that as a society, we do have to get better about a lot of different things and pertaining specifically to this issue, a call for change to prevent this in the long run of things isn't a bad thing.

I don't agree with a lot of Obama's ways..I do get what you mean by "fluff". He is a terrific speaker and can excite and inspire a crowd, but I don't know that he has effective plans/policies in place to make the actual changes he calls for. I'm undecided on that front and continue to research/listen.

However...isn't that 90% of election propaganda really? To inspire, to speak to the people on views and call for changes? To make people WANT the change in the first place? To see that it's an important issue?

At this point in America we are beating a dead HORSE(cow if we are talking the meat fiasco). We have many issues here and abroad. The propaganda in an election year is makes it worse on America. I imagine making people WANT to change is the failed diet plan...another issue among Americans. All the diet Isles getting bigger and the waistlines are too. Yo-yo diet and or healthy plans...after a few weeks most say diets are overrrated and slip. Many want to place blame on the current administration. Let's Yo-yo again America.

Paired together with politics and you really have a Yo-yo Americans. We are more intelligent than propoganda.
