I'm sure they did see their child as a punishment in some ways, since they hid their pregnancies. That though can't soley be based on lack of education. That is on the parents, imo. I'm sorry, but where were the parents these last 9 months?

All this tells me that as a society, we do have to get better about a lot of different things and pertaining specifically to this issue, a call for change to prevent this in the long run of things isn't a bad thing.

I don't agree with a lot of Obama's ways..I do get what you mean by "fluff". He is a terrific speaker and can excite and inspire a crowd, but I don't know that he has effective plans/policies in place to make the actual changes he calls for. I'm undecided on that front and continue to research/listen.

However...isn't that 90% of election propaganda really? To inspire, to speak to the people on views and call for changes? To make people WANT the change in the first place? To see that it's an important issue?
