Regardless if you support Obama or not, I don't know how it can be an awful thing to not want your child to have a child as a teen or make choices that have consequences such as an STD? That is a punishment imo. I would much rather educate my child on all aspects of sex and what it can lead to than have them learn the hard way.

If you don't believe that a teen pregnacy is punishment, or not appreciate the way he worded it, I can understand that I guess, but isn't the message as a whole something good?

I think that the message is good. He might not have said it in the most graceful way but I think the idea that he was attempting to communicate was that t's important for people to be educated.
