I am also looking to adopt. I think my case is a little different. I am 21 and dh is 24. We have been married over 3 years. We are going overseas to adopt. I think every couple is different. As far as money I think it is really hard to tell who has and who doesn't. I once was a credit counselor. I often had 40 year old men crying in my office because they were so far in debt they couldn't see straight. Where as I have bought IRAS since my 18 birthday and so has Dh. We just bought our first house. We live in a wonderful neighborhood. It is tough every one has children. I also have a degree in Finance. Hubby has a really great job in the Navy and we have a wonderful life. I think age is a number. I have a done a lot in my young life but I like that. Once I get my job (we just moved to a new city) we will start saving up for the adoption. We are right now living cheap and paying off debt.
