Hello!

Yes, you are a transracially adoptive parent if you are any race other than your child's. It's great for you to point that out.

Bethany is a wonderful agency that is very supportive and not afraid to answer most any question you may have. Their local number is 615-242-0909. Tammy Bass is the adoptive parents' counselor. She's really sweet. She held our hand the whole way through and was great about addressing any concerns we had.

Nashville is a great place to live. Becoming much more culturally tolerant all the time. We live in what used to be a redneck-only area. We now have Black and Hispanic families in our neighborhoods. We've only been here three years and have seen positive changes in that time.
