I got Brave

Well I got brave this weekend and sent a letter to my older brother. He is a year older than me and I met him once about four years. I tried to continue communication and heard nothing from him even though he was more gung ho than I was for a reunion. I was really hurt and it took me a LONG time to get past that. I've moved since I last wrote him so I just wrote a chatty letter telling him where I am and letting him know that if he wasn't interested in contact if any of our other siblings were I'd like him to pass my information on. (I'm the youngest of six and all of my older siblings are full siblings.)

Yes I have tried contacting M but she wouldn't even write me a letter. I can't set myself up for that kind of rejection again. Yes I have considered all of her feelings, I'm sure I've processed many similiar ones myself. I just can't reconcile the fact that she couldn't even write a letter saying she wasn't interested.

I'm anxious to see if B calls or writes, but not going to get my hopes up too high.
