It seems like the various connties in California do not "play well" together when placing children. Like there is some aversion to placing a child from a county near San Diego into a county near LA or San Francisco or visa versa.
Doesn't this elongate the wait for children?
Doesn't it exacerbate the already overcrowded system?
Isn't the whole idea to provide safe and consistent families for the children?
Wouldn't the children be served better, more efficiently, and maybe quicker if the CA counties worked as a unit, sharing information and working placements together?
Imaging how that might help the children in CA?
Then what if we could expant that to U.S.? Aren't they all "Our" children - not California's, or Kansas', or Delaware's?
Just thoughts ....
