How thoughtful of you to be aware of his comfort like that. Very cool.
Based on all of the posts I have read that you have written, I'm sure you don't have to worry. The only thing my nieces and nephews have mentioned as "problems" - or uncomfortable situations at a party is when conversations turn inappropriate (not much you can do about that after the lights are out - the kids will have to censor themselves, if needed), or when the group at a party is watching a movie they aren't comfortable watching. As a rule (not always followed), LDS people watch no rated R movies. And for 11 year olds, I would not show a PG-13 unless you have cleared it with the parents. There are plenty of good movies out there that it shouldn't be a problem, especially for 11 year olds, to find a good PG movie.
That was the only thing that came to mind when I read your post. And some LDS kids will drink caffinated drinks, others will be uncomfortable with it, so it's good to have something else on hand.
You are so cool for checking... I want YOU to be my daughter's friend's mom!!! (she is six -and came home telling me all about "Beevis and Butthead"... Delightful. Thank you, neighbors!)
