It depends on how much you put into it and want to spend on advert. word of mouth etc...we paid 600.00 for the homestudy and 500.00 for a retainer with an adoption attorney in Wa state. We are on on adoption.com that costs's, but we didn't do that until almost two yrs had gone by, wish we had done it sooner.We are setting up a little nursery to be ready in case of a last minute call, just the needed items. So it depends on you, i feel enpowered to go out and speak for myself, facilatators can be expensive, a friend spent 7000 for this service but had a baby girl onr month later who matched perfectly to her.We, like you arent wealthy, but have drive and love to go the distance.
