when I was prego with my first child my ex wanted me to do the same thing but I told him no, I was against it. It's kinda hard to tell them no sometimes but when you know that it's something that would stay with you and haunt you and that you really dont want to do it then no is a good answer to give.
I cant tell you what to do and neither can anyone else, not even your baby's father, it might be his child but it's your body and your baby as well! It kinda seems to me that he just wants to get out of another mouth to feed but you know.
anyway, if it is something you dont want to do then dont do it but that is something you do have to find out for yourself. I was a single mom for 3 years and yes it is hard but it brings so much joy!! I am also a birthmother so I know how that road goes too, it's hard but you can also find joy in that as well.
