I've learned that there is nothing more amazing than the look in the eyes of a child who proudly says (signs) "I'm smart!" when she had been told her whole life that she was stupid.
I've learned that just because something is easy for most children doesn't mean that I can't throw a party when my SN child finally "gets it".
I've learned that "Holland" is pretty nice and I think I might like to visit again soon (ie. adopt another special needs child).
