We also received a call from agency owners mother but I must say it was not brief at all. She asked detailed questions and we gave her feedback and she seemed to be very interested.
6 months later we received a call from the owners sister to talk about another immediate referral and she asked how we were doing and showed a genuine concern and caring.
I do participate frequently in prospective parent meetings so I think our communication level is different. I do know that I can always call them if I need anything but I have contacted our social worker that they recommended on a few occasions and he was fabulous.
Overall though I think once you are home, you are the parents and nobody is checking in. Just like regular parents.
