Cool this is a long shot

When I was little 6-11. I had a major sleeping problem. I don't think it was medical. Anyway my mom being the most wonderful mom ever was different. She never focused on what other mothers did. She discover that I was afraid to be alone or something. So I would watch QVC. It's boring so I would not really want to watch it but the voice helped sooth me. My husband sometimes has to work nights and I find my self watch the news channel to sleep. It also helps teaching them to sleep through anything. I slept at a concert once.

My husband's mother is more concern what others think. My dh had this small bag of quite toys. I think it was a teddy bear, book, blocks, and these things that connected together. He would play with these as long as he wanted but he could only play with those toys and he had to stay on the bed. He also had a small night lite. The TV was my night lite. My biggest advice is to listen to your child. There could be something is worried about like monsters. Who care that I watched QVC as a child. I am good with money and have a college degree so I don't think I was damaged.
