hmmm... i never replied to this but thot i had.

amur region (siberia) is very, very, very, very hard. in fact, i don't think they are agreeing to work with americans anymore. people from ireland and spain are completing their adoptions there tho.

the anti-american sentiment there stems from the death of viktor matthey a few years ago. our sasha who we spent two years trying to adopt, came from viktor's orphanage.

we adopted our two daughter in 2007 from samara region. it was six months, start to finish. very smooth. they do NOT waive the ten days and do NOT let you stay in region to wait, however.
