It was hard to talk about. I was actually kind of shaking before I talked to my husbands brother and sister in law. But it was so nice to finally feel free to talk about my son. My sister-in-law asked so many questions that night, we talked about the many intricacies of adoption and my adoption. My son's adopted mother actually knows my sister-in-laws older brother, so that was kind of cool. Anyway, I hope to have to announce less and answer questions more. I am inviting my in-laws over this Sunday for dinner to let them know also that I am finally ready to tell their family about my son, that way they can also ask any questions they may have and they can be prepared for all those who call them with questions and they can send those people to talk to me about it.
