You are explaining the tax credit like I understood it. My DH and I usually owe very little if anything, since we have most of it taken out in each paycheck. So....if the tax liability is 12,000 AND we had 12,000 taken out during the course of the year, we should be getting $10,000 back....RIGHT?????? Some other posts on here are saying that even though you had $12,000 taken out during the year, just because you technically do not OWE any more, you can't re-coupe that money. SOUND WRONG?? PLEASE TELL ME SO. Thanks! Sue
