peggy- your right, I work in the public school and they do have great resources for special needs kids. Whereas, the Catholic School we're interested in does not.
I think the strict discipline and structured curriculum is a real plus in Catholic School! The public schools in our area really lack in the area of strict discipline but, are very good in the structured curriculum. It amazed me what kids get away with today versus when I was a kid IN PUBLIC SCHOOL. In defense of the public schools, it is some "sue happy" parents that have tied the hands of public schools on disciplinary issues. Just the way I see it....
