Howdy girls! How's it goin?
I'm just droppin in to say Hey while I get a chance here...my Dad, the boy and I are all goin to harrass my apt management to get my internet hooked up this week so hopefully that will work and get them to take action.
If they don't do something after we harrass them this week, we're goin to look into taking it somewhere like to a tenants association to have them help us get it handled and taken care of because it's ridiculous how they're responding or rather not responding to my reporting problems to them that need to be fixed.
I just heard from both my girls families recently and sent them Halloween packages. My 4 1/2 yr old asked to send me a package when she heard I was sending a Halloween package to her and is understanding more about her story, the adoption concept and who I am lately. She's also looking at the pictures of me and her from the hospital when she was born and talking about it more lately and wanting to know more.
Also in the e-mail I got just today from my almost 3 yr old's mom, she said that my 3 yr old is starting to understand a little more about me and the adoption concept and they're talking to her more about me and her story etc. also. She told me how my 3 yr old is into princess stuff right now to help me with ideas for her b-day this month when she turns 3.
So, yeah things are busy and have improved and things with the boy are finally becoming more positive and progressing in the right direction. We still have to keep working through things and all, but in the past 3 weeks we've made a lot of improvements and he's been doing more than in the past lately too.
Anyway, things are getting better and improving with the boy, the girls and their families...and everything in general for the most part. I'm really excited about hearing how both my girls are understanding more about me and adoption and their stories and all. I'm really excited about hearing how my 4 1/2 yr old wants to send me packages and likes to talk about me and her story and everything lately too. I'm also excited hearing how my soon to be 3 yr old is starting to understand more about me and adoption and her story too recently as well.
I'm feeling blessed and lucky with different areas in my life and all. Also with my sister and her husband that she's in the process of divorcing, recently DCFS called and talked to her and my nieces and then took the husband's two daughters away from him because of how they said he was looking at them/watching them in the shower etc. and he's been charged so I'm glad that my sister and kids left and got away from them when they did. I hope that his two girls get into a better situation away from him or that he gets help now that this has come out too.
I'm also figuring out my classes for January and looking forward to getting back into school soon. I'm gettin excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas in spite of my mixed emotions with K's b-day coming up though
.
Oh and wanna hear somethin freaky...on Halloween at work A's bio guy came in and went through my line and it was really weird cause I haven't seen or heard from him in about 4-5 years now or something like that. He didn't say or do anything other than Hey how are you and bye have fun, he's the one who walked off and denied her existence and is still in denial and doesn't care or somethin, but man it kind of threw me off. And it happened on Halloween of all days...I just had to laugh in spite of bein freaked out though hee hee.
Hope all's well with all of you. I hope to get my internet back this week too so keep your fingers crossed for me.
