Well that is just how we adoptees feel. Some stranger, in on one case Laura, in another for me a lady at the court, had my file open and can see everything about my history..including my biofather's name and I can't know it..never mind I am 60 now and my bioparents are long since dead...As I said I used a PI and found my maternal side. But the PI could not find my father's side telling me there was no access to it..which I took to mean was not on the original birth certificate even though CC has a name. It is an outrage. And to get my non id info back in 2002 I had to pay 50bucks for it..it may be more now. Let me know if you would like to know the name of the PI I used.
