I am a 17 year old boy living in Pakistan. I was born in Saudi Arabia. We built our own house in Pakistan so we moved to Pakistan in 1995 only my father stayed in Saudi Arabia.

We had been living a very high standard life in Arabia. What ever we wanted our parents provided us. They brought us up in a perfect manner. (We are proud of our parents). I have 2 brothers and a sister. All of us are studying.

My father spent 20 years in Saudi Arabia. He worked on high posts there. In Mar. 1999 or so, my dad lost his job in Arabia and he decided to come back to Pakistan and do some kind of business here. He tried a lot of businesses but everyone of them gave him a greater loss and we lost all of our saving which my father brought from Saudi Arabia. My dad had great dreams for us, he wanted us to be successful and have best of our life but because of money those dreams are vanished away.

My father however managed to admit my sister in Medical College (My other two brothers have completed there high school, eldest has got bachelor's degree and the brother younger from him has completed his high school).

Now I am left behind. My dad thought a lot about me and told me that now he is not in the position that he could afford my expenditures. I asked him that what should I do, he said that he and my mom have decided that they should give me to some family that could take my good care and can keep me as their son. At first I didn’t know what to do but my father told me that the internet is the best source for information on adoptions. I surfed the internet and contacted many people but everybody said that I was too old to be adopted. People here in Pakistan don’t help others and they blame parents that they have sold their child and things like that, that’s why my parents asked me to find some family in America or Britain as they are good people (My dad worked with Americans and British in Saudi Arabia so he knows about those people).

Even Pakistan Govt. doesn’t help poor people. They take money on every step and that becomes more expensive than the help of Govt.

I am in despair and I don’t know what to do. I feel totally unsafe about my future. I am a good son. I will help my new parents in every aspect of life. Whenever they need me, I will be there. Only in return I need is their love. I didnt have birthdays celebrated for a long time, I need happiness in my life. Please try to understand me, I wont be a trouble in your life I promise that. Please understand me.
