We started to look into the gluten free casein free diet for our DS...you may want to look into some of those support groups and research that diet. The casein is the dairy portion. There are tons of alternatives out there...Whole Foods and similiar stores have many products to choose from and I know Whole Foods will help you find the products. We did not stay on the diet since we had DS tested for the allergies and intolerences and he is OK. I think emjay's son has a similar restriction.
Good luck!

'My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to, your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small, You never need to carry more than you can hold, and while you're out there getting where you're getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too, Yeah, this, is my wish.'
