Just to share a personal story maybe it can help othr siblings...my mom had child out of wedlock in 60 she didnt even know she was prego.till it was to late...my grandmother senther ove to england to give birth,and to hide the fat of my mom being prego...after the birth of my brother my aunt adopted him... in my eyes and evybd' he couldnt of wanted any better parents than he had with my aunt and uncle..which are now both descesed.Well in 1989 my mom told me about who i thought was my couisn now bam...was my brother! at that time i had so many mix emotions about my mom and what happened but being raised in northern ireland a strict irish catholic parents i can see how times could have been to her.Now we are all closer...but i do sem to feel i missed out on another big brother ..funny thing was as kids when jim used to boss me around i'd say hey ya think your my brother or something...lol...joke was on me he was!
