Ours didn't cost a thing, except we paid about $900 to our attorney each time we finalized. In fact, the agency and the state offered to pay us... we turned them down but did negotiate a conditional subsidy in case of problems later on.
Then again, our kids were a year old, 8 months, and 8 months when we adopted them.
