PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!! I called my b-mom last night and we talked for over an hour. She was so happy to hear from me. We obviously talked a lot about my life as she wondered how it had been, if I had a good life and was treated o.k. It sounds like she had a rough upbringing and wants to explain a lot of things to me so she is writing me a lenghty letter. I just don't see the past mattering to me. My concern is who she is today not who she was 20-30 years ago. I just can't believe that it went so well. I had absolutely prepared for the worse so this is an absolute joy. The most ironic part is that she lives about one hour from where we are going on vacation in 2 months. My children are her first grandkids and how lucky for them to have another grandma! I am once again going to give tons of credit to Kinsolving Investigations for finding my b-mom and they did it in 6 days. Thanks to all of you have offered advice, support and prayers.
