Adoption.com Forums - View Single Post - Worrying for nothing or not?

I'm starting to get a little frightened by the thought of going to court and not being granted our little one. Does that happen very often? For what reasons could they do that? Am I being paranoid for nothing?

I hope you guys can put my mind at ease, if not at least I'll be prepared.

6/15/06 Received referral - baby boy
6/19/06 Turned down referral - medicals Heartbroken

6/22/06 Home Study complete
6/23/06 Received 2nd referral- baby boy
7/03/06 Accepted referral -Kemerovo.

7/27/06 Fingerprinting done
8/12/06 Received I-171H!!
8/14/06 Waiting for travel dates
1/5/07 Started paper chase for baby girl, China
3/20/07 Referral lost

3/28/07 Dossier completed for China adoption.
4/9/07 DTC (China)
4/23/07 LID (China)

5/7/07 Accepted referral- boy-Kemerovo

5/8/07 Going independant! Waiting for travel dates
5/16/07 Trip #1 travel dates! 6/24 to 6/29
8/30/07 Trip #2 dates! 9/29 to 10/11 Court 10/2!

10/2/07 Officially parents to Richard Stephen Oleg!!!

10/16/07 First steps on American soil! Finally!
