"put your legs on"
"pick up your legs, they don't go in front of the door"
When is the last time you changed these socks, throw them away and put some clean ones on."(she goes weeks without changing the socks or the shoes on her prosthetic feet)
"turn your feet around frontwards"
"Quit running over your sister's feet" (He thinks it's funny that it doesn't hurt her to run over her feet with a 300lb wheelchair"
"Untie your brother so we can get out of the car" (by this we mean undo the tie downs on the wheelchair, while I open the lift so he can drive the wheelchair out, but often when the big kids are racing to see who can get out the other side faster, I have to yell at them to come back and untie thier brother, otherwise I have to climb in there and do it)
"Don't let him walk to the car!" (he walks by scooting on his but and when we are going to church I don't want him all dirty!)
Don't put your brother up there! (when he annoys him the big kids like to put him up on a shelf or counter so he can't get get down, sometimes he is a toot and probably deserves it, but they know they are not allowed to do it.)
If you throw up you are grounded! (this kid throws up on purpose when he doesn't get his way)
"Get your hand out of your pants" and "put some pants on." and last but not least "No, sideways underwear is does not count as dressed!" (remember he has no legs, so his underwear does sometimes twist around, however he also likes to put it on sideways on purpose so everything is, um hanging out. He also uses this method, along with putting his pants on sideways so he can stick a hand in a pocket and have easy access. Lately he wants to be naked all the time or in just the sideways underwear, which he consideres dressed)
