Some of you know I am very involved in Girl Scouts and this weekend we are starting our kick off. All of this activity has me thinking....

Were you ever a Girl Scout? Or a Boy Scout?

What is your favorite memory???

Okay, I'll start...

I was a Brownie for 3 years and a Jr. Girl Scout for 3 years. I was upset when my troop disbanded and there wasn't a Cadet Troop for me to transfer to. So I'm making up for it now

My favorite memory was making the Buddie Burners out of the used punch cans and making the "fire" out of a large tuna can. We had a cookout at our Leader's House where we made Hamburgers in her back yard and cooked S'mores over her charcoal grill. We had to sleep under the stars that night so we could earn our badge. I'm not sure how many of us burned ourselves on our burners but I do remember having a blast.
