Hi Kimberly..... I agree with GETTING vaccinated. I did not, and was very Lucky (as I find out). My agency (back then - 2004) did not require/suggest, but now they do! I did have my annual Flu shot in October, and had my tetnis the year before from a cut - so I felt good that I had, had them at least. I was in Moscow, so I too was not in a remote place - though my DD was in a remote village (almost 4 hours one way by car), and it was filthy dirty and depressed. If I where going through the process again, I would get it ALL done. Nothing is worse then feeling or being sick while on this journey.

I would find out how long they last for 6 months, 12 months, etc., and get them done with enough time to travel.
