I have an odd situation, I have 3 nephews that have been a ward of Washington state for just over one year now, I have taken 2 in for as long as I could, while my sister took in the other. These are nephews on my husbands side and we then helped them get placed with another aunt due to being unaible to take on 3 more children ourselves. That situation ended recently but not due to any fault of the childrens, the family member was not taking care of them. They are now in a foster home again, where we live there are very limitted foster familys, I am in constant contact with their case worker and have tried to do anything and everything I can to try to help these boys, but I have been informed that they are going to court soon to complete the parental termination rights for all of them and they will be up for adoption. My delima is that there are no resourse's for them here as far as temporary foster care, nor an adoptive family. so I am trying to reach out to any and all sources available.
The boys ages are 3 years, 6 years, and 8 years. These boys have had an awfull life, my husband and myself have tried desperately to do what we possibly can but our own resourses and family needs will not allow us to take them permantly and because we live only 10 miles from them but across a state line we are not allowed to take them temporarily. If this there is any one out there that may have any information or avenue that would be helpfull to their situation I would be greatfull to hear them because I have finally reached the end of all of mine. I am new to this forum and this is my first posting so if I am in the wrong forum, or am wasting my time, direction on that would be appriciated also.
