OMG, I can't imagine having a child for four years to then have them be ru, IMHO if a child has been with a family since birth for the first 2+ years of their life, they do not know any other family and at that point the damage is greater than any benefit unless the fps are themselves neglectful or abusive.My heart goes out to that woman you met and her family, and to every family that has ever experienced anything remotely similar.
