I think we're all speculating about the legal ramifications of all this. I don't know for sure what the laws of your state are. You would probably be better off talking to your own lawyer or paralegal to get these answers.
Aside from the legal, tho, how do you feel about your ex-husband and your kids spending some together. While your current husband has been the Dad to your children, your ex-husband is their father. I think it's important for children to know (at least know about) both parents. However, if there are safety issues involved, that would be another matter. How do your children feel now about meeting him?
