Can you get a child three years old or less in Brazil

Hi everyone,

hope someone can enlighten us. we are very disappointed right now. We finished our homestudy which went fine and had our first contact with our lawyer who is supposed to start the process with the CEJA for us since we're Americans and don't live in Brazil. we just spoke to our lawyers in Brazil who told us that toddlers in Brazil are given only to Brazilian citizens and that we should expect to get a child who is nine years or older. Does anyone know about that. We also are looking to adopt 2 siblings, does not that make it a lot easier? Also if you had a good experience with a lawyer I would love to get some suggestions. my email is danilita1@yahoo.com

Thank you and lots of luck to everyone.
