hi,
has she been seen by a peds dr.recently?i would make her a appointment asap so they can look for any physical causes .if its not physical then its emotional.has this child been sexually abused that you are aware of?does she have accidents all the time or just at night?at night limit fluids before bedtime, make sure she goes to the bathroom at bedtime.how long had she been removed from that situation?it could take time.be patient.hope you get answers soon, and resolve this issue.
Anyway.... any advice on how I can help her through this? Any things I can try. I did tell her that pull-ups are not the answer, they're there to help her through this but she's not to rely on them.
She said she's been having these issues for 2 1/2 yrs. (when mom's abuser BF moved in.)
She has a psych eval on 6/18.[/quote]
