I am also new and have not actually talked to anyone yet. But my husband and I also went through a very long process of treatments and are now finishing up with our Dossier and will b ready to adopt from Russia just as soon as they calls us. I just started my book on Dec 31st. I know that there are so many suggested ways to do it, but the way I look at it has to be something that works for me in order for me to do it. So I just bought a large leather bound Journal and I incorporate what we have gone through these last years with other thought about how I feel that day or what I want to show him/her once they arrive and really anything that comes into my heart. It may not be the conventioanl way of doing it, but above all it has to work for you and shoud convey anything you want to tell him/her.
