Hey. We just did not go there. Got the vague impression that B-mom kept the first-born daughter and first-born son, and put baby brother and our DD into the orphanage, where baby brother died -- and where our own DD almost died.
Heard just days ago from a neighbor/bud/friend who went bi-racial domestic adoption that she hears ALL the time, when push comes to shove, "YOU'RE NOT my REAL mother, so you can't tell ME what to do!"
While DD and I have our moments, that has NEVER been stated in our home.
I would love for someone to say that my daughter's younger sibling was alive and available. But I understand your shock, and the dilemma....
Bless your hearts, all of you!
