Attached are a few pictures of our sweet baby girl from our pick-up trip. Of her in our room at the Marriott (love the pants on head photo - she is such a goofball) and us at the Guatemala City Zoo. I highly recommend the zoo. Lots of fun. I'll post a few "we're home" pictures as soon as I download all gazillion of them.

I just wanted to say to everyone still in the "trenches" that I am thinking of you, and rooting for you. Wherever you are in the process. When I was doing time in Shawshank, or sipping a tropical drink with a little umbrella in it at the Copacabana Club (much better visual), I never bought the "when they're home you'll forget about the pain" line. But it's true. Well, sort of. No, I'll never forget those 9 long months in PGN. Or the ulcer I named after Barrios ...which finally has healed. But I also gained a lot from this experience. Patience I never know I had, wonderful friends from all over the world, and THE most adorable baby girl who fills my heart with absolute joy. DH said it best last night..."the house is so full of life now".
