Need help with giving newborn up for adoption

Hi,

I fear that one week ago I may have gotten a Malaysian woman pregnant. I am a US citizen and not married to the woman. The woman is ethnically Chinese (non-Muslim) and I am white; she is 18 and I am 24.

Before I go further, I want to say I am extremely regretful of my actions and am committed to doing what is best for the child and the mother if there is a pregnancy and both the mother and I agree on that. We believe the best course of action is adoption by a married American couple.

I was reviewing the rules on the US State Department site and want to have this lined up as best as possible in as much advance as possible. It seems that if the child is born there the adopting parent must be a resident of the country.

I am willing to do whatever is necessary, including marrying the mother for the purpose of getting her here to give birth if that is ideal.

If you have any suggestions (please don't mention "use birth control next time" - this was my first time having sex and wasn't meant to happen and I have no intention of ever doing this again, ever) I am ready to hear them. I do appreciate any help you can offer tremendously.

Thanks,
