sorry

I am so sorry to hear you feel that way. I am sorry for the pain adoption has caused you in your life. Please know that your opinion does count. - Even if others don't agree with you, it's okay for you have your own feelings.

I am a hopeful adoptive mother who is hoping to breastfeed. I would like to make it clear that in no way do I wish to pretennd that our child was biological. Our child's birthparents are EXTREMELY special and important to us, and I would never want to take away the special bond that you can share when you are related biologically.

The reason I would like to nurse our child is because of all the enormous benefits to the child. There are so many studies that show SO MANY healt benefits for the child through breastfeeding. Truthfully, if I were trying to be selfish, I would bottle feed - because now that I've been trying to get my milk to come in, it's lot more difficult than I expected.

Again, I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling. Please don't ever believe your feelings and opinions are not worth anything - they are.

God Bless,
Heather
