I agree totally with you. I am 22 years old and have always known I was adopted. I love my adopted parents with all my heart. Just over a year ago I did find my birth mother. It has been an amazing experience but no matter what my mom is my adopted mom. She's the one that was there when I was sick, the one that was there with milk and cookies when I got home from school. She'll always be my real mom.
